I have noticed that under the coming soon section, in Oklahoma, it lists Enid and Stillwater areas for December 2003. Has this happened yet? If so, there would now be a 580 area code listed for Oklahoma as well as the 405 and 918 area codes already in effect. If anyone has any news on this, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks !!!
A quick check of the Vonage website (which is probably where you just came from) indicates current service to 405 and 918. It also shows Enid and Stillwater as "Coming Soon" with service in "December 2003"
From everything I remember when asking these questions about service here, the Vonage site is the only place you'll be able to get any info. E-mails to Vonage were returned with the answer "yep, that's our website", or some other answer indicating that the info on the website is the best Vonage will release. Also, if I remember, no one here had any inside information.
I'd say stick it out another month or so. They should complete your "December" connection at any time.
