Does anyone know if Vonage is going to have a "Hosted PBX" offering?
The best Hosted PBX provider so far is iTEL-ip (www.itel-ip.com), hands down! Besides all “standard” phone system features, they offer number portability, DID, fax (in and out), unified messaging, call recording, text to speech (read your e-mails to you), IVR, ACD and they even give you your own MS exchange e-mail account. I believe all of this is offered for only $44.95 a month. Do you know how much it would cost to buy a phone system that does all of that? That’s right, thousands. Plus you would still have to pay for the phone lines, MS Exchange, the server, etc.
iTEL-ip is an Interactive Intelligence distributor and Microsoft ISV.
For the dollar, it is by far the most advanced Hosted PBX option available today.
Oh yeah and...
If you use them for your high speed internet (in available areas) they can guarantee you optimum voice quality by delivering QoS over your internet connection.
Finally someone who does it right. |

Oh yeah and if anyone else says they can do all of these things. Make them show you. iTEL-ip does online demo's for anyone interested.
Thats why I want to know if Vonage will have one soon. It seems like if anyone can compete with this it would be Vonage, so far no one else can.
Your thoguhts are genuinly appreciated. |

Who knows. As far as I can tell Vonage is becoming more like a circuit provider than an equipment provider. I compare them to a CLEC.
If you want a PBX or a hosted IP PBX solution, I have a feeling you'll want to look elsewhere. Vonage doesn't seem to be on the ball, and I think they are holding off on purpose. |

Vonage seems to be focusing on providing the lines/ call paths and they are working with equipment providers to satisfy the PBX side of it. You might want to consider using their Business Plus Plans along with Customer Premise PBX equipment Like the NEW BizFon7000.com feel free to ask me for more info. |

It sounds as if the answer is no. At least for now.
If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know how they compare to iTEL-ip. Here;s their site. www.itel-ip.com.
Thanks. |
