Post subject: Open Port and disconnected business line
I'm transferring my number to
Vonage
and it was released by Qwest on July 29 and ever since callers, to my business line, are getting a "this number has been disconnected and is no longer in service" message. They tell me it's an open port issue and that their techs are working on it. They say it's a problem with their third pary carrier. This is causing me all kinds of grief and I've been calling
Vonage
twice a day for updates. They make promises every day and tell me how sorry they are but my number is still a disconnect. Any ideas on what else I can do??
