I'll add my geographic area to the list as well - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Still no outgoing service. To quote from Om Malik's blog, Vonage is reporting that "In repairing the firewall issue, there may have been very minor isolated call disruptions, such as a fast busy signal but everything should be fine now." From reading this thread, I wouldn't classify it that way.

Are you an official spokesman for the company?

Grizzley,
I am trying to be reasonable. We have a catastrophic failure in a service that we have paid for.
Well, sometimes things you pay for don't work for a few minutes at a time. Sometimes companines issue credits for those times.
Ask for a refund for the 33 minutes it was down.
That comes out to be 0.0011574 per minute which is 0.04 cents for your 33 minutes of downtime; problem solved?

During times like this, I see my main job as keeping the postings flowing in an orderly fashion, i.e., keeping all the newbees (no offence) from starting new posts and keeping the lines of communications on this site open. I also keep a close eye on our servers, shifting the load as needed.
I would like to add that during this whole time, I was on the phone, my Vonage phone.

All I have noticed today was persons on the other end of the line complained of CHOPPY/BROKEN voice and I was getting disconnected. Last time I used the phone was about 2PM EST and it worked fine. Dont know if incomming was working today...phone has not rang at all today.

Partially down in Tampa... I can call in the 727 & 813 (local) area codes without a problem, but anything to the 239 (in-state long-distance) area code fails.

I've had the choppy audio problem for 2 months now. As it stands in Cleveland, I don't even get a dialtone. If you call my vonage lines, you go straight to voicemail even with a simulring and network availability number configured.

Partially down in Columbus, OH . . . can call locally (614 area code) and voicemail, but long-distance is a no-go.

Try dialing full number 1+(area)+number.
Mine works, but doesn't work without area code even for local calls.
seems that their route plans are screwed up, but service is actually working.
4:56 pm, Waterloo, ON, Canada
Cheers.
