Sorry if this question has been asked before...

I'm talking to one of my clients to get them over to Vonage (Business Plan). They have 3 lines now. 2 Voice and 1 Fax. I know that we can do LNP on the Voice lines, but can LNP be done on the Fax also or do they need to get issued a new number from Vonage?

you should be able to lnp in a number, but it can't be as a vonage $10 per month fax number. you would have to have at least the $15/month voice plan on it (or whatever the cheapest business plan is)

Ok, so they would need to get a new fax #. we'd want to LNP the existing # to the Fax line that comes with the Business accounts.

Actually as a Vonage expert I know that you will have to choose the 14.99 plan during the port, however when the port is completed you could have a requested sent to use the number ported for your free fax, the will do it, I did it

You CAN port a fax #. Just not to a Vonage Fax #. It'd have to be to a Vonage voice line - $14.99, not $9.99, basically - the main thing would be different activation/term charge.
