Hi folks!
New Vonage user here, just signed up tonight.
I've searched the site, and couldn't find an answer, which is probably out there, but lost in the other posts.
How long does it take Vonage to ship the routers?
Thanks,
Diana |

I know of some that have received their hardware from 1 to 5 days after placing the order. |

It's pretty quick. It typically ships the next morning from New Jersey, via DHL/USPS alliance. DHL got it to my local post office on the west coast about 2 business days later. Then the post office got it to me the next day. So whenever your tracking info shows it in your city, you have to add a day for the post office to get it to you. So if you ordered it tonight, I bet you will have it by Friday or Saturday. Good luck! |

I made the "mistake", if you can call it that, of ordering Vonage on a Friday... so the phone adapter arrived on the following Tuesday. Not bad, and I could make free calls using the call forwarding feature online until then. |

Excellent... so it looks like since I ordered last night, Vonage will be sent a tracking number sometime today, right?
Thanks for the responses everyone |

I'm not entirely sure why, but it takes awhile before the tracking number gets posted on your account. They'll e-mail it to you as well. |

Well I got the tracking number, the interesting thing is that DHL did not (does not?) provide an expected delivery date. I'm thinking, ahhh come on now, UPS and FedEx does. And looking up the service (DHL@HOME) it said "Standard delivery within 2 - 4 business days, Deferred delivery within 2 - 7 business days" Well I wanted to have a better idea than that, so I wrote DHL with my tracking number and asked them when I could expect it.
Their response:
| Quote: | Dear Diana , Thank you for contacting DHL. Our records indicate that the shipper chose our @home service , which requires us to deliver to the Post Office for final delivery to you within 2 business days. We appreciate the opportunity to serve you. Laurie Customer Service DHL Express |
Since they don't say WHICH post office, I will assume it would be a local hub, in my case the Palatine IL office. It should then take another day (or two max) after it gets to the post office. |
