Hello,
I just ordered the Linksys WRT54GP2 from Amazon, after I'll activate the service I'll move to Spain for two months. Can someone tell me if the power adapter incuded in the box is dual voltage 110V-220V 50/60Hz (12V DC, 1.0A) or is only 110V 60Hz (12V DC, 1.0A)?
Thanks |

Yep, Linksys is equipping all of their US products with an archaic 120v-only adapter... BUT, there's hope! For less than $20USD, you can buy a compatible Euro adapter. Best bet is to buy an 230V power adapter when you get over there, as they're MUCH cheaper there than stateside.
When buying an adapter over there, make sure the adapter puts out 12vDC. As far as milliamps (ma) goes, needs to be 1000mA or greater. More won't hurt it, but too little and you'll have all sorts of weird problems with the phone adapter.
It should be noted that the 12v adapter has a positive center pin and a negative outer shield.
