Your caller ID name can be something other than "Vonage Holdings" if you came from an existing service with good LNP compatibility and ported over to Vonage. Mine is still intact after coming from Verizon. Must be based on your particular phone companys compatibiility of LNP. If yours says "Vonage Holdings" and Vonage has told you it can't be changed it has to be a local thing you have based on the "renting" (for lack of a better word) of the number and caller ID info Vonage has to do with YOUR local carrier.
