Hey all, long time no post. That's cuz for a long time everything has been aces with Vonage and my ISP and my call quality. HAve had no issues for about 8 months, then in the last week all of a sudden I'm getting choppy and garbled audio when I place calls.
Anyone else in A2 area with comcast having similar issues?

Yes. same location, same carrier, same problem.
It is an inconsistent problem; it varies by call. My theory is packet-handling issues with CC. I don't think it is a Vonage problem.
I also don't think there is a Vonage solution. I would not change settings or configuration looking for a fix.

Just curious, what happens if you use the bandwidth saver & drop the call quality down to 30kbps? |

Tried that too, and made no differences in call quality... Strange part is the garble is only on my end of the conversation: the other party hears me just fine.
Anyways, mucked around with this for a few hours yesterday (placed the Motorola device outside my router (i.e. cable, motorola, then router, then pc) with no changes, and restored original config (cable -> router (w/qos by motorola MAC address) -> PCs and Motorola... no changes... Power cycled everything in the house.... no changes...
THEN... after giving up the phone rang later sunday night and bam.. clear as a bell...
Crossing my fingers that the gremlins stay away from my line...
