Post subject: VPN, DMZ and no sound on the phone
I have been struggling with why I cannot access my corporate VPN since upgrading to the .37 firmware. I finally enabled the DMZ setting and put in the IP address of my laptop and VOILA it worked. However, when I went to use the phone I lost all sound. I did this on both lines and I could get dial tone but no ringing or sound.
I then disabled the DMZ, could not VPN anymore but got the phone sound back.
Redid the DMZ and same thing.. not sound coming from any of my phone lines.
Disabled DMZ.. phones work....
So it perfectly repeatable and doesn't seem to make sense that this option would effect the phone.

this is a known issue and should be fixed in the next firmware release
