a few fyis about click to call
c2c does not currently work with our "new" linksys adapters.
c2c places a call to your Vonage phone, which can ONLY be answered by ur Vonage phone (even if u have simulring) reaosn being is it has a refer message and if the von phone doesnt send an ok back with that refer msg the call will disconnect, no way around this.
sorry for grammar and spelling, its late |

Could you elaborate on which adapters it doesn't work on?
Thanks. |

scerruti the information you provided is appreciated. This explains why it is that when I answer my cell phone the call is immediately disconnected. However your last paragraph makes no sense to me. All of my calls are placed or received when my Internet connection is active. As a matter of fact I don't know how I could place or receive calls without an active Internet connection. Further, I can receive all other types of calls with my Vonage line and that is what isolates this problem. The only time that my Vonage line does not ring when calls is for the C2C feature. You were also correct in stating that the network availability number feature is what was causing it to ring after I disabled all other call forwarding and simulring features. After removing this that stopped happening. But as stated in my previous post, now when I attempt to C2C I simply get nothing. Call is initiated my the windows application but nothing rings to initiated the actual call.
***EDIT*** Upon further review of your last paragraph I think you may have been asking if my computer is on at the same time as my trying to make or receive a call. The answer is yes it usually is, but not always. I don't think that there could be a IP conflict as I have everything attached to one router using DHCP and for there to be an IP conflict DHCP would have to suffer a major hickup. As it sounds though this is all a mute issue as Vonage recognizes that there is a problem with our adapters and is working on it.
Thanks for everyones help! |

Will this be done with a firmware update on our end or some sort of change on your end? |
