Post subject: Verizon Account Number Format?
Does anyone have a verizon bill sitting around? I am trying to transfer my old number but they say it very crucial to have the information exactly as it appears on the bill. I don't have any bills that i havn't thrown in the garbage and i have two different account numbers in two different formats and verizon cant give me a straight answer on what is what!
the format displayed on the website is:
my phone number + 3 accout digits
ie. 5553333333111
the format i was told on the phone is 3 account digits + 3 more account digits
ie. 111000
can someone tell me which format the verizon paper bills say for the account numbers?

My Verizon bill has the form:
Account: area exch number code1 code2 code3
example 123 345 6798 345 23 8
single space between groups
I hope this helps.

David,
that's perfect! it is a good thing i asked because now i see that the right answer was actually a combination of what i saw on the website and what verizon told me on the phone.
thank you very much!
