Can I setup Virtual Number so that all calls made to virtual number are forwarded to my cell phone and not my primary vonage line?
In addition, I want all calls made to my primary vonage line to ring normally (e.g. not forwarded to my cell phone).
Another words, I want virutal number for my cell phone. |

In other words, "Vonage Virtual Numbers are for incoming calls ONLY, so they ring to your primary Vonage line."

I understand that they are INCOMING ONLY. But can you forward calls made to virtual number to non-vonage number(e.g. cell phone). That is without forwarding calls made to primary number? |

it rings to your primary number only. you have no direct control over it. anything you do to your primary line will affect the virtual line. |

Ahh. I understand what you mean.
I thought when you get a virtual number, it gets added to all those listboxes on the Features page and you can control its call forwarding independently of primary phone number. But I guess that is not the case.
Any other feature/company that provides a virtual number just for forwarding purposes? |

The best way is to sign up for a softphone number. Virtual and toll free lines go to the primary number, (*** Note on edit*** The toll free plus number can be set to ring a regular or softphone Vonage account.) but softphone numbers can be set to simulring multiple numbers. Softphone numbers can be in any area code, just like virtual numbers. The down side is minutes of use, but incoming minutes are free anyway. The up side is that you can dial out using your softphone number from your PC.
I use softphone exclusively at home. My modem travels with an employee and my toll free line rings my softphone. (which could be forwarded to a cellphone, if necessary.)
