The router receives the correct information from the cable modem/ISP. In fact, that's where I have to go to look when I configure each client manually.
I contacted Linksys tech support and they said to try and flash it again. I guess it won't hurt to try, I'll do that when I get home.

Everything seems to be working fine now! Had to power down the modem and the router and now it finds the DNS automatically.
So it worked just fine for a few weeks until we had a few lightening storms. Then it would not find the DNS automatically.
So I tried a bunch of things and it was having the same problems as before.
I eventually disabled the wireless SSID broadcast and did a power down on modem and router and it now finds the DNS automatically.
Enabled SSID broadcast again and everything works just fine.
If this happens again at least now I know how to get back on line ASAP.
/Joe
