Post subject: Multiple ATA's
Anyone using 2 ATA's with a Lynksys wireless router? I have been trying to get mine to work for 2 days before the Cisco ATA gave out. Having a new Moto. shiped and will try again. What had happened is that I would recieve some incoming calls, but most would forward directly to voice mail.

Tech. Support told me to put the Moto. outside the router and leave the Cisco behind, but before I could test this the Cisco gave out. Dont know what happened it just went dead even when I tried to hook it up directly to the modem. If anyone has got a 2 ATA system working with a Lynksys wireless router I would like to know how you have it set up.
TIA, D.

Well we solved the problem. After trying one Motorola MTA outside the router then the other, both having the same problem behind the router the Tech. support person asked me to reset the router. It worked!!! Now all calles are getting through. I will leave one Motorola MTA in front of the router and the other one behind and see what happens over time.
