I don't know though... I am sure that Voip will be the standard, but to what standard will it evolve? A combination of mobile and Voip?
If POTS has evolved this little in 100 years, whats going to happen with Voip? I am sure that the evolution rate is going to be at least 5x, if not 10 times greater than POTS ever would be, its too versatile. Its a hell of alot easier to change a line of code than it is to rewire an entire building...
