Just wondering if anyone else is having trouble today with their voicemail indicator not turning off on their phones. I noticed at noon today I received a call which went to voicemail and the indicator light came on for a few mins then went off. Went to check the voicemail and it took 1 min to ask for my password. After that it told me there were no messages. Then checked on the dashboard and received the message. Deleted the message later on today via *123 and now my voicemail indicator lights will not turn off. Seen something on the dashboard about voicemail taking a while to pickup. Tried rebooting the adapter and that didnt fix anything either. |

Earlier today there was a service anouncement about a delay when accessing Voicemail, so it may have been a result of the engineers working on the problem. |

This is a new problem? My voicemail waiting indicator doesn't turn of for about 2 or 3 days after I get a new message (check it.. and delete it). |

It may be a problem with your phone. One of my phones will "freeze" occasionally and the message waiting light will stay on, but if I unplug it and then plug it back in its back to normal. |

Maybe... but I don't have this issue with it plugged into a POTS line. |

Try this idea, it works sometimes.
Call yourself and leave a message. Hang up, call the *123 and retrieve and be sure and press the * key when finished.
See if the message light will then reset.
Just a thought |

How can you leave a message for yourself? That would be very useful for testing outgoing audio quality, but I've never been able to figure out how to do it. |

Sorry, I guess I was not clear. Go to a non-Vonage telephone, and call your number and leave a message. |
