I called Verizon today to see about the status of my number port to Vonage. The rep told me that my number was scheduled for a disconnect tomorrow (7/20).
This was a surprise to me, since the Vonage site still has my status as "Transfer Sent to Carrier" on June 28.
I sure hope people can call my number tomorrow! Either through Vonage or Verizon. |

Best of luck! Let us know how it goes. Did you just speak to a normal Verizon representative? I was thinking of calling them and asking the same.
DId you check on Verizon's site for your bill (assuming you use Verizon's online bill pay)? I wonder if there are any online signs that a transfer will be occuring shortly.

Well, I got transferred today. Took from June 28 through July 20.
I just spoke to a normal Verizon rep and no, there were no online signs that the transfer was about to happen. I do (or rather, DID) check my bill regularly on their site and nothing there indicated that it was iminent. |

Congrats! I am glad for you! No word form Vonage either.. Strange!
I called and they transfered me to the Voicewing department when I asked about LNP's!
