Post subject: WRTP54G daily reboot to restore VoIP
I finding that I have to do a morning reboot of the WRTP54G. I noticed when I don't have
Voip
connection, there is a 5 second dial tone delay upon off-hook and the expected 2 beeps after dialing is delayed for 5 to 10 seconds. That indicates to me that I don't have a active
Voip
connection in the router until I do a power reboot of the WRTP54G. The ISP is from Comcast using a Motorola SB5120, and I'm currently using the
Vonage
temp number until Verizon releases my number. WRTP54G Firmware is .18 version I think.

You need the router firmware upgrade.
