If i have a G4 with an airport extreme wireless card, & i purchase the WRTP54G wireless router, do i still need an airport express or base station to connect my computer to the internet wirelessly? Or will the linksys router work fine on its own? Is there an advantage to having the airport express im not aware of?
I had purchased a airport extreme wireless card, an airport express, a ethernet switch & a PAP2, which didnt work out. I have read all the posts involving airport, but they all involved a wired router. With the rebates going on now, the WRTP54G is inexpensive, but if it cancels out the airport express that will save me a nice chunk of change $$$.
Im new to wireless, so thanks for any advice!
