I'm not a Vonage user, and our area code (334) is not available. If I signed up and got, say, an Atlanta area code (404), and my brother a block away wanted to call me, how would he do that? Would a call to me be long distance to him?
Thanks, Alex |

If the number is local to your brother then it'll be a local call for him and will be routed via the internet to you regardless of where you are physically located (for no additional charge) |

and yes, if it's a LD call for your brother, a block away from you, to call Atlanta it will be a LD call for him to call your (404) Vonage number. It may help to think of it this way: no matter where you are physically, your phone number would be "in Atlanta." |
