Post subject: PAP2 Red LED light and Blue ethernet light on; wont connect
I really hope someone can help bc i spent all after noon trying to get my pap2 adapter to connect with no luck. When I first got the pap2 i had the same problem were i would disconnect the modem, router and adapter and then reconnect in the same order but I would get was the red led and blue ethernet line turned on with no blinking and no phone line light on. I am 99% sure there was a thread on here that helped resolved the problem but after going thru the 114 pages I was not able to find such thread.
After about a month and a half of having the adapter disconnected (was overseas) I reconnect everything and again I have the same problem i had back in early april when I got my adapter only the power red led right and blue ethernet light turn on. So I called customer service and had a hard time understanding the indian guy's accent but he basically said that the adapter was shot. I explained that the same had happened when i first got the service and got it to work and that i refused to send this adapter in and wait for a replacement.
If someone knows how to fix this problem let me know but I am stressing here.

I do not remember the post you talk of but one of those may be it. It seems many people have had to get new PAP2s.
