Hi

So I finally decided to take the plunge....but the link from the coupon doesn't seem to be working anymore......it just comes up with a blank page with Access Denied written on the top left.....

any ideas where I can get a hold of it since I wanted to subscribe....

also, since I have opened a new thread like a noobie....which adapter should I go for? I already have the linksys wireless router at home.....WRT54G...I think that's the one....kindly do let me know

I just clicked the link on the home page and it took me right to the Vonage signup page. It seems to be working now.

As far as the adapter goes, I don't think you will have a choice.

Thanks! I am going to do it hopefully today * keeps fingers crossed*

if I opt to keep my original number, how long on an average does it take to port the number over? what happens in the meanwhile? I am on hold with the Vonage CS as of 15 right now...is it always this bad or is it just a busy time to call?

lastly, I actually wanted to know which adapter to get? since I have no idea......and all I want to do is add the Vonage thingie to my existing system at home with minimum tweaks....

Time to port a number is all over the map. Vonage says it takes a MINIMUM of 20 business days. Some people have been waiting for months and some get it done within a week. I've been waiting since June 28.

You may want to check the "Number Transfer" forum on this site for some personal experiences.

Mine took 20 days to complete. If it goes over 20 days ask for a credit.
