Hi,
Can someone tell me where I can buy a motorola vt 1000 adapter? I called Vonage, but they said that the particular model is not supported anymore.
The reason I am looking for this specific model is that it's the only one that works well on dual voltage and I need a model that I can use in Asia.
Any recommendations or suggestions would be welcome.
Rgds. |

Will a VT1005 work? There is a lot of 5 on eBay ending in 6 hours. Item: 5788473404
PM me if you decide to bid. If you have to buy all 5 and Vonage will activate them then, if the price is right, I will buy one from you to have as a backup.

| These units are being sold AS-IS. We will not accept returns for units that Vonage will not acitvate for whatever reason. |

Most of these terminal adapters will work, as most of them use the same protocol...the bigger question is will Vonage allow you to use them on their service? It's clear to me that they don't like having a bunch of hardware choices out there for support reasons... There's a few other VoIP providers who are more than happy to connect you up with whatever hardware you want to bring. |

I just saw the Motorola VT1005 at Target. Not sure if you can get it on-line, but I was at the store last night and they were selling them there. |

I currently have a Motorola VT 1000 sitting on my shelf not being used. I received this device when I originally signed up for Vonage. I am not sure if you would be able to use it, though, since it was once registered on my account. |

Circut City has the Motorola 1005. I just bought one last week and my Vonage service is up and running. They usually have rebates that bring the cost of the unit from around $80 down to $10. |

I'm with another voip provider and they support VT1000 and VT1005. So I was hoping to get one, but they are not available anywhere here in Canada |

It is my experience with Vonage that hey will refuse to activate any telephone adapter whose MAC address is not already in their database.
I have an Ebay-acquired VT1005 that is serving as a lovely doorstop. |
