HELP !!!!
My service has been down 24 hrs Now.
I called tech support went through the tech1 and ended with 2nd level tech. Waiting for a status.
I have done on the Resets on the router and cable modem.
Symptoms:
Either dead air
or after I put it on phone2 I get a dialtone try to dial and it click off and another dialtone come up....
or
I get a dialtone for about 3 seconds and then it click of and other dialtone come up.....
I have version 1.00.37 Done automatically 2 days ago. |

The phone indicator blinks on and off.
My vtech phone displays that a "extension is use" |

try a different phone or try a different phone cable, just to eliminate the possible sources of the problem |

I have tried 2 different phones.
I have done all the t-shooting steps that the vonages techs make you go through !!!
UPDATE:
Now I get A "Off the Hook" Signal.
Still no callback from JULIO - The 2nd level support !!!!
Going on 48 hrs without my phone service !!!!! |

Hey, I just posted the same issue. I believe it might be the VTech phone causing the problem. I was down all day, trying all of the tricks. Then I plugged in a cordless Panasonic phone, rebooted both devices, and I now have dial tone and have had it for hours. I moved the VTech to another phone jack in the house and it appears to be working. Just a thought. |
