Of course if you have your phone forwarded to another number and you need to unforward it, you're hosed. This happens to me at least once a month.
I've been asking for 2 years (that's correct, I got
Vonage
11/03) to provide a touch tone feature for high level functions, like turning on and off call forwarding, message answer etc. Otherwise, when the site is down, so are you.

Agreed. I see this as a significant issue, and I like your solution. In fact, I think
Vonage
should provide the touch tone controls you mention even if the web site were rock solid. For what it's worth, I've been having a lot of trouble with the web site this month as well.

Same here! I can't log in and I was trying to setup Simulring to my home office POTS line in case my internet access goes down during hurrican e Wilma this weekend. This is ridiculous!!! If you don't give us reliable web site access, then at least let us call fwd. via touch tone!
I was able to call fwd via touch tone over 12 years ago at my first apartment... way to move forward w/ technology!

I don't understand how a system can be down for half a day, with no official announcement as to what's going on and when it will be back? I wish I could get away with stuff like this at work. If we're doing work on one of our websites that could result in either a planned or unplanned outage, we have to notify our customers in advance. If something goes wrong, there has to be another message.
I've only had
Vonage
for a few days, but I'm not especially happy with the performance of the web system so far. Is this the level of service I should expect in the future?

No it is not...
I can understand the frustration etc, but a dial tone is more important.

Has anyone been able to log in today? I'm just wondering if this is sporadic, only affecting some people, only happening occasionally, or if it's across the board. I've had trouble logging in since last night.

The redirect to the main page is all I've been getting. Have tried it in IE/Firefox, no difference.
