Hello,
I'm looking for a USB headset for both Voip and Voice Recognition. I've done quite a bit of research. It looks like Plantronics are the best in class. The only thing I don't like about Plantronics are the two piece design, the headset and then the amplifier. Can recommend a one piece USB headset that has good quality sound for both Voip and Voice Recognition?

Go for the Plactronix headset Model is DSP 400
I'm using it for softphone and works like a charm.
Bought it from EBAY for $37.00
Amazon has the DSP 500 model for $44 (free shipping)

I definately agree with shri62. I've tried quite a few usb headsets and the Plantronics DSP-400 is by far the best.
