I had a hard time understanding you post so I am going to restate it and then provide some thoughts assuming that I have interpreted your request correctly.
You are receiving calls where no caller ID information is available.
You would like to know the source of these calls.
I would hazard a guess that a lot of times you pick up the phone and no one is there. These are probably telemarketer calls. I suggest you register your number with the
Federal Do Not Call Registry
.
Federal regulations intend that you not be able to find out the number of a caller who has caller ID blocked without a subpoena. However in the past some of these tricks have worked. I have not tried any of these with
Vonage
.
When you get a call transfer* it to another phone. Check your activity log to see what it says.
After the call try *69 (call return). See if it tells you in the activity log what number you called.

*How To Transfer Calls
It's easy to transfer a call to a third party.
Just press the flash button or switch hook on your
Vonage
line telephone.
Dial #90.
Dial the phone number where you want the call transferred. Then hit #.
Hang up the phone and the transfer will take place.
