The instructions say "Simply dial *123. There's no need to dial your eleven-digit access number to check your voicemail account as long as you are calling from your Vonage telephone." the systems always requires me to put in my 11 digit account number when I am calling from my phone. Any Ideas |

I think I've run into that before. There's a hidden setting in the voicemail called "Prompt for mailbox number." Go into your voicemail, and hit 9 to go to setup, then hit 9 again to toggle the prompt on and off. |

Thanks for the info, it worked another undocumented feature! |

I tried connecting to my voicemail and pressing 9... that worked... I then press 9 again and it says that I have pressed an invalid key.
Am I missing something?
Could it be due to the fact that I have 2 phone numbers (one on each port of my router)?
When I connect to my voicemail from line 1 it prompts me for my mailbox number but when I connect from line 2 it skips right to prompting me for my password. This is not a big deal but it would save me from pressing 12 extra digits every time I connect to my voicemail. |
