[color=blue]Just want to say that I am VERY happy with the service thus far. Running Panasonic Cable modem (4 yrs old), Vintage wireless linksis router, with a newly issued (from Vonage) linksys 2 port phone adaptor.
Had the normal start up issues because I don't read directions. (Macho thing), but after it was properly connected it works fine. Verizon delayed the cutover for 2 months, but after some discussion with them the finally let go of the account.
Sorry to say my buddy who recommended the service is having a horrible time, after an initial good experience. He has struggled with: no connection, no outbound voice, no caller id and I guarantee you is not singin the Vonage Jingle these days. |

I , also, am very happy with the service. And customer service, once you get through the maze of menus, is actually pretty good. The kicker was when I got my payment notice this month. $27! That's $41 less than I paid with Ma Bell for the same features. The only change I had to make was to get ADT to install a cellular back-up on my alarm system and set it as primary. |
