Having a bit of trouble. Can not get ADT to use the phone line. It gets a dial tone but will not dial out. The handshake just does not hit with the system and the ADT servers. They suggested a filter...any thoughts. Also, my fax machine is not doing it at all. I just have one of those HP T45 all in one jobs. Anyway can not send or receive faxes. Other than that this stuff rocks. I am very pleased thus far. |

I can't get Vonage and ADT to work either, (my ADT system dials out but won't connect to the system) others say it works for them. Related perhaps, I can't get a modem to dial out, nor does my Tivo dial out. Vonage technical support says they don't support ADT, they said to try *91 or some such code, but that didn't do me any good. I'd like to speak with someone who knows what the heck the deal is and who can explain why some Vonage ADT customers work fine while others don't. |

Yeah I would agree with wanting to talk to someone that has overcame this problem. I have heard all sorts of theories but nothing has checked out. The only think that I have left to try is to hunt down an RJ31x filter for the alarm. Otherwise I am tossing a cell back up in the unit and calling it a day. I wonder why they would not support the one of the largest security companies in the US. I would think that it is someone that they would want to partner with. Anyway, let me know if you get anywhere on this. Good luck. |

I am right there with you. That is what is happening exactly. I was told the RJ31x filter would take care of it. I have had a big time deal trying to find one. As far as the fax goes I got nothing. I was told to try and slow it down a bit and see what happens. Let me know if you get this solved at all. |
