Post subject: Not all phones working
I have succefully setup the
Vonage
configuration. However, when I plug the phone line into my jack it my computer room phone works but my kitchen and bedroom phone don't. When I plug the wall jack into the kitchen, my kitchen and bedroom phones work but my computer room phone does not work. I disconnected the outside phone line box as I was told by
Vonage
techs. When I had Verizon all three phones worked fine. The
Vonage
techs can't seem to help and I called several electricians and they feel my phone lines are fine because they worked with verizon. Has anyone had this problem and does anyone have any ideas I can try?

Based on you description I would guess that your kitchen and bedroom phones are connected together and that the computer room phone exists on a separate wire.
These two wires were probably joined together in your NIU and when you disconnected the NIU you severed the connection between the three phone jacks.
If this is true there should be two cables coming into your NIU from the house and one from the street. You would need to connect the two from the house back together, either by using the NIU or by splicing them directly.
If you can post a picture I may be able to provide more concrete help.
