SMS - Messages

On my BT and NTL line I am able to recieve a voice interpretation of a SMS message but this does not work to a Vonage number is there any one know the reason for this

yes agreed my children used to use this feature a lot when we were on NTL.

Strange. It works normally on my Vonage line.

still doesn't work for me ....

So, what I do is:

From my BT Mobile cell phone I send an SMS text message to my Vonage Voip telephone number.

Text is sent ok, but never received on Vonage phone. No record on activity on web account.

So, how does it work for you?!

It works for me!

Sending from my O2 account to my Vonage number.

My Vonage phone rings, and I get a BT recorded announcement reading the text message to me. On the activity page of the web account is an entry from number "anonymous".

I'm on Orange and it works perfectly.

Cyberlander a bit off topic but I can't receive calls on my Vonage number from anyone using Orange. I take it you can receive calls from Orange OK?

pje1979, I think it is you that is slightly off topic. Follow the posting from the top down. I have posted on this topic before and my last post was a follow-up saying that I am on Orange and when sending text messages to my Vonage line, I receive the message in spoken form as does the person on the O2 network which posted before me which is completely in relation to the original topic.
