Hello.
I am an owner of a Phillips TiVo HDR212. My TiVo cannot make its daily calls (it made one daily call about three weeks ago and has not made one since). It usually logs on for between 7 and 15 minutes and then I get a "Call Interrupted" message.
I am located in New York City and I use the following settings.
Prefix: ,#034 Call Waiting: *99
I also have a DSL Filter on the Line. I have turned off Call Waiting on Vonage.com and have set the "Bandwith Saver" to 90Kbps.
I have considered calling Vonage tech support but I don't know what to ask them!
Any suggestions would be very much appreciated!
Best,
Jack
PS As an FYI, when I sucessfully made the Daily Call several weeks ago it was through dumb luck. It was the first day I had Vonage and I hadn't messed or changed any of the settings! |

The HDR212 is a Series 1 model. You should try a prefix of ,#019 instead of ,#034.
If you call Vonage, just tell them you are trying to get your TiVo to work. Call them from a non-Vonage line, if you can, so that you can test while you are on the phone with them. |
