I have a US primary number, and UK virtual one. Now when I go out I set my call forwarding to my cellphone.

My mother calls me from the UK to the UK virtual number, but it doesn't forward, just goes to the Vonage voicemail.

Shouldn't the UK virtual number forward thru the primary number to my cellphone. I did a check calling the primary number from another cellphone, and my cellphone rang ok, so it's set up fine. Just doesn't work from the Uk virtual number.

I want family and friend in the UK to be able to get hold of me wherever I am, so this is disappointing.

I understand if you only have one number of your ring list, the virtual number follows the primary numbers features...?

there was a post a while back about someone not being able to recieve calls that were forwarded, they too were excepting calls throught their UK virtual ##.. I cant' remember what eh outcome was, but I dond' thtink they solved it at that time.. call up Vonage nad let them know, maybe you'll be the lucky one that gets something fixed.. lol

I am a little reticent about calling Vonage support unless I have to, having read so many stories about being on hold for an hour or more. I've experienced plenty of that in the past with other companies, and I just don't have the patience any more. Perhaps I should try at least once..

I have been having this same issue for months and posted this problem in the forum some time ago. I have sort of given up with Vonage support as I have not had the time to follow up but I will do so soon. Maybe if more people complain Vonage will finally fix this problem that seems to occur for some odd reason.

One thing you need to try is to uncheck the Voicemail active on your virtual number. According to the online information that box should not be checked if you wish for your Virtual number to follow any simulring or call forwarding instructions.

Please let me know if you have any luck as this issue has frustrated me for months.
