When I go to http://192.168.15.1/ and try and enter my password and user name (both are the default settings) I get the wrong username/password screen.
I have never assessed this screen, so it should still be the defaults. Any idea how I can figure out what the password or username is? |

what are you using? the username is blank and the password is admin. or you can put in elephant, duckbill platypuss, etc for username, it doesn't matter. |

I have tried using different words for the user and admin for the password. It still gives me the error. |

that's odd, what device are you using? have you tried leaving username blank? a factory reset just to be sure wouldn't hurt either. |

I am using a Linksys WRTP54G. I have left the username blank. Still the same message.
If I do a reset, will I have to set up my service again? It was a pain to get it up in the first place. |

I have tried that. That is what is suggested in the user manual. I am at a complete loss as to what it would be. |

yeah that's where I saw it. well that's weird, not sure what to tell you. I don't know what your setup problem was but a reset shouldn't affect it, especially if you have never logged into it before (but don't blame me if it does, these wrtp's are touchy). what browser are you using? |
