I would help you out, but it is a little late for me. How about trying a free fax to email service like eFax to test outbound faxing?
I still had a POTS line when I was testing faxing so I hooked a computer with a fax modem on my fax line and tested my FAX machine on Vonage. |

you can always call vonage customer care to get them to test faxes. They have a fax machine on a PSTN line and a vonage line which they can test with you and if you do have any problems they can assist you in fixing it right there.
Some key things to remember when working a fax with VoIP is to slow down the connection speed of your fax machine to 9600 baud (faster speeds distort the voice packets and then the destination machine cant understand yours)
Also turn off ECM (error correction mode) this feature tends to also cause synchronization errors with analog fax machines over digital VoIP. |

To recieve faxes you can go to the us government sites like veterns or social security and they have documents that you can request by fax. Just enter you phone # and what docs you want faxed. |
