Vonage in India-BSNL

U need to login into the interface of your router(firewall IP ) something like http://192.168.0.1(depends on your router)

chose pppoe and enter the username and password in there for the router to lodin on to your adsl connection and there will be a choice for it to keep it connected all the time. check that box as well

and VOILA u are ready to go ... just restart the router soft or hard reboot.

I am facing the same problem .The Blue light (LED) glows to indicate an active ethernet and internet connection ,but now I cannot connect to the internet also .When I type http://192.168.15.1 I get page not found error .I Have RTP300 Vonage Router connected to my BSNL Router in India. Not sure what the problem is .

Does anybody know if we can configure the BSNL Router to enable PPOe ? What is the default IP for the BSNL Router ?

i have tried all that is mentioned in the troubleshooting section on teh Vonage website .I can only set PPoe to enabled if I can get the internet.My internet stopped working after I connected the Vonage router however the LED glows on both the internet and ethernet ports .

Hi,

I have the following setup
1) DSl-Dataone
2) Modem: SmartAX MT800
3) Phone adapter : RTP300

Presently i have to login in order to connect to internet. How do i set this up in modem or adapter. I mean which is the best way to connect using PPoe? I tried configuring SmartAX MT800, but is hangs and does not do anything. Will it be ok if i just configure RTP300 for PPoe? if yes then how to do it?
