Voicemail Problem

Recently, when I receive a voicemail I get a page on my cell phone alerting me of a message. Tonight I tested the system to show my parents (their thinking about getting Vonage too). The funny thing was the voicemail I just left never got saved on the Vonage system. My voicemail was gone! I didn't get my studdered dialtone either so I know the system didn't registar the new message.

Anyone having problem missing voicemails within the last few days??

I have the same problem with a twist. Here is my email to Vonage and their reply:

" My account number is xxxxxxxxx and I am having problems with voicemail.

When someone tries to leave a voicemail, it beeps 3 times and cuts off after 6 seconds with a message that states "your call has been cancelled" and it hangs up.

This is the fourth time that this has occurred in the last month." etc etc.

"This is a known issue with voicemail greetings. First thing to try is
to log into your voicemail system and ensure that the generic greeting
is activated. Do not activate any of the other calls. The options are
there for those other greetings, but the voicemail system does not
support it with our service. So just go in set the greeting or play
around a bit in the system. If you recorded your own message, try
recording again and making a test call. Here is a link to the voicemail

Please let us know if we may be of further assistance"

By the way, I have "played around a bit" with my voicemail settings - I still get this problem occassionally.
