Has anyone else received the new firmware version of 3.1.3 on the PAP2 device. I guess there were alot of issues with the 3.1.1 version. It took me a week to backrev to 2.0.13b but I checked last night and heard that I am at 3.1.3. Under the 3.1.1 version I had problems with my wife's fax machine. It would connect but wouldn't send the pages. Does anyone know what new features are in 3.1.3?
Thanks,
Michael |

I upgraded to the new firmware a week or so ago. Been working fine for me, however I've not tried any faxing.
Voice quiality seems much improved, IMO. |

My PAP2's been running 3.1.3 for about two weeks with no issues. |

Pick up your handset and push the * four times. Then it will say configuration menu. Then push 150# and then it will tell you the firmware version of your pap2 device. Once finished you can just hang up the phone. |

My router stopped issuing DHCP so I uplugged/replugged it and it started to work. The last time I had to do this was -- I believe -- after a firmware upgrade by Vonage.
I looked at my router and saw that the Voice was now at 3.1.3(LI). I previously was at 2.0.12(LIVd), or something like that.
Do they ever publish release notes when they have firmware updates? I am curious. |

not so far, thought as someone pointed out a while ago, the firmware updates and version numbers seem to closely mirror the sipura devices (since the pap2 basically is a sipura) so you may have some luck checking out that device's release notes. |

When I do that, I just get a fast busy tone. Tried the * 3 times, 2 times and just 150# but all of those give me a fast busy signal.
Any other ideas? |
