I've been using my current router and Voip for the past two months with no problems. Yesterday I moved to my cottage for the summer and cannot get the Voip to work. It's the same service provider but a different modem (a Speedstream 5360). I can surf the web through the router although it seems to disconnect all the time and the phone lights won't come on. I have a PPoE connection.

When I go to the Status for the router, the Voice info alternates between blank and offline.

Are you running the PPPoE software on your computer? If so, turn that off and set up PPPoE on the router instead.

No, I'm only running PPoE on the router. Also, my router seems to be disconnecting/rebooting all the time.

Could you clarify "all the time"? Is it in a neverending reboot cycle, or does it just happen every few minutes/hours?

Also, what's the model number of your Vonage box?

i don't think that you can use that model as a phone adapter, i belive that's only a modem. you need to have a phone adapter for it to work. try connecting it's lan port to a rt31p2

The reboot cycle is a never ending cycle - every few seconds. I'm using a LinkSys RT31P2

Hm, that's odd... does it only do the continuous rebooting when it's connected to the DSL?

Check to make sure you're using the correct power adapter also. People have gotten them mixed up in the past.
