User Configurable ID works both ways... I could associate text with a known number that will display on my Caller ID when receiving calls.
Too often it says "Wireless Caller" or some other unhelpful information.

definitely User Configurable Caller ID would be a great feature if it was added! |

Some telephones actually have this feature.
On my Panisonic cordless, anybody I have in my speed dial shows up on the caller ID with the text I have in my speed dial list.
I would like to see this feature incorporated into the Dashboard instead of, like you mentioned, wireless caller or unknown caller.

Why is Vonage even asking what features we want when they have not added anything new (worthwhile that is) in over a year? As far as I am concerned they have pretty much ignored their current subscribers and have put all of their resources into their add campaign. I mean, it's not as if the features that we are asking for are new. They are the same features that we have been asking for since day one. I know that some of these features are available through other companies also, so it's not like they are imposable to do. Come on Vonage, wake up to your full potential. |

One feature that no one seems to have mentioned is the ability to forward SMS text messages to your cell phone. That means someone can send a text message to your Vonage line, and you will be able to receive and read the text message on your cell phone.
Some of us use simultaneous ringing so that we can tell people our Vonage number and not have to give them our cell phone number as well. This arrangement works beautifully except for one thing: we have to give out our cell phone number for people to text message us. |

I wouldn't mind a wakeup call, but Vonage is in the mail right now, so I'll find out later what I wish it had. |

You can actually already do this if you set the notification e-mail address to your SMS address from your cell provider. You even get to see the caller ID information in the text message. |

Yep I have been using this since I got vonage... For example for T-Mobile I use 0000000000@tmomail.net where the zeros are of course your cell number goes but yeah it works great! |

Couldn't have said it better myself. Spend a little from that $200million recent investment on new services and not all of it on gaining new customers at the expense of ignoring your existing ones.
