Hi everyone!
I just got my new Vonage but being on vacation, I
have asked a friend to install it while I'm away. It
seems that he has problem login in at the very end
on the Set Up page "Linksys" when he types in the
infos of the PPPoE. He gets disconnected each time
and we don't know why...
My system is Windows XP Pro. Do I have to confirgure it?
I would appreciate any help on this subject cause I
would like to start using my Vonage and save long
distance call during my vacation.
My friend doesn't speak english and I've tried the help service of Vonage, but not being in front of my computer, it makes it hard to understand.
If you have any answers for me, you could email my
friend Franck and I simultaneously at the following
adresses:
bib_13@yahoo.ca and miodas@msn.com
Thanks in advance for your help!

It's not a good idea to move this topics to the Canada français forum. There are not enough participants here to get a response to technical issue. No critical mass.
It should be better to move it back to Canada or US forum.
Doing so, Brigitte can get an answer in English and translate it for her friend to understand.

Brigitte double posted, once in English, once in French. One in each forum. |

Problem solved!
If you have a similar problem , be shure to desactivate PPPoE from Windows and after that activate PPPoE on your Vonage Router.

N.B. J'ai pris note du problème à partir du forum "Vonage Canada En français" alors n'hésiter pas à utiliser celui-ci pour de l'aide. |
