If you have the .45 firmware, you must can Vonage support to have them activate *70 on your router. Be prepared to argue with the support techs, you may get one that insists it is not supported on this router. I had to verbally twist the guy's arm before he agreed to enable it. Works fine now.

on the Vonage website it states that the Call Waiting feature must be turned "On" or "Off" via the web -

If it is not supported it should be - makes call waiting useless.

Joey,

Thanks for trying to help but I understand how to use it. The problem is that when I attempt a *70 prior to making a call I get a three tone error like you would hear on POTS before someone says "If you would like to make a call please hang up and dial again..." Something is either disabled or wrong with the service or my box that does not allow me to use the *70 feature to disable call waiting on a per call basis.

Customer service should be able to enable *70 on your device for call waiting.

My previous post was directed to bg4, to show that even though Vonage claims *70 is not supported, they give instructions on how to use it on their website. You need to call support, like I suggested earlier, and have them activate it on your router.
