I'd prefer to move this back to a public thread instead of a PM, so others can chime in if they have any ideas...

When it dies, are you still able to access the RT31P2 at 192.168.15.1? See if anything changes if you mess with the "Client Least Time" under DHCP on the RT31P2. Try values less than an hour, and/or more than a day. |

Hey Paul!
Sorry for the extensive delay in getting you some feedback regarding this thread...I didn't realize you'd responded! I'm still experiencing a wireless outage. The "client least time" is set to 0...what should I reset it to? |

As I said... try times less than an hour, or more than a day. It probably won't fix anything but it's worth a shot.
And once again, when the connection dies, can you still get to http://192.168.15.1/ ? |

Ok, I set the client lease time to 45, however, I think there's something repeatable that happening whenever the connection is dropped. I loose the wireless connection whenever the laptop that accesses it switches to any mode other than "on" (i.e. hibernation, standby or when it's restarted).
To provide you with an answer to a question you asked earlier, I can't access either router when the connection is dropped (despite the wireless icon saying the connection is good).
So, what else should I try to do to resolve this issue? |
