When I lift up the phone to make a call, I get a series of quick dialtone like pulses. How do I get rid of this? If I have to check my voicemail, does it have to take place over the phone or can I go online and check like I normally do? |

You have messages. You can check them online or over the phone. |

I get the same thing sometimes, seems to occur when my bandwidth dips below a certain level. I'm on a burst 256 line that can vary quite a bit depending on the time of the day. |
