still no way to do it with Vonage. search for acr and you'll find hardware and software products you can try. |

Try this link, I have one and it works quite well, You can block Private, out of area or any individual number you want. The only draw back is it only works with one phone in your home. I have the vtech cordless system with a base and 4 satellites, so I hooked it up to the base and it works with all of my extensions.

That telescreener looks pretty neat. I have my RT31P2 wired right from port 1 to the jack in the wall so my whole house is wired to Vonage. Wouldnt it be possible to have a wire come from port 1 to the telescreener and then from the telescreener out to the wall outlet to the other phones? I would imagine this would work perfectly? |

It's sounds like it would work. I will give it a try and post the results later today. |

Come on Vonage.... when are we going to have this feature built in? Most of the other Voip providers have it. Heck, even most of the POTS providers have it. |

I would imagine that Vonage uses a SoftSwitch for their switches. You would figure they would just do a software upgrade to add new features such as callblock. |

I agree, it's probably a software change to add call blocking. I wish Vonage would provide some kind of update on what they are doing with it. |

I never received any telemarketers when I had my POTS line. I ported the same phone # over to Vonage and am on the national do not call list as well as the florida do not call list and receive tons of UNKNOWN/OUT OF AREA/PRIVATE calls now. Very annoying. Wish they would add the anonymous call block as well as regular call block. |
