Any help or comments would be appreciated.

My network setup:
1. Linksys PAP2 Vonage Adapter connected to Netgear Router
2. Netgear WGR614v4 Wireless Router connected to Cable modem Internet, Linksys adapter, 1 wired pc, 1 wireless pc.

Problem:
1. When i try to connect to a website (any common website like google or yahoo) 95% of the time it doesn't connect the first time. For example if i type in www.google.com into firefox or IE and hit enter, firefox says the site is not found and IE give me the page cannot be displayed error.
2. 20% of the time it doesn't connect the second time with the same errors.
3. It usually works after the third try
4. After i've accessed the site once, it seems to not have the problem anymore. For example www.vonage-forum.com once i am able to access this, any pages within the domain i can access.
5. This problem affects both computers.

Interesting information:
1. I've disconnected the Linksys PAP2 adapter from the router and both computers have no problems with connecting to websites. This leads me to believe that it is something to do with the PAP2 adapter
2. I've turned on UPNP on the netgear router, but it was not on earlier, but the problem still exists either way.
3. I called tech support, and they blamed the problem on my bandwidth, but i don't believe that is it. Here is my speed test:
My Results
Download 733,720 bps
Upload 517,664 bps
QOS 88%
RTT 1552 ms
MaxPause 180 ms
It is alittle slow, but it says i should be able to support 7 connections.
4. The adapter is in Japan, Tokyo. This might be the source of my problem

If there is anyone out there that can shed some light on this situation it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

what port is your pap2 connected to? have you setup anything weird/unique on the netgear that is focusing or giving constantly high priority to the pap2, thereby killing your computer access (and reenabling when the pap2 is gone)? qos is the only thing that comes to mind, but it shouldn't work that way. not familiar with features of netgears though.
how is your phone? working? bad connection?
you could always try moving the pap2 connection to port 2 instead of port 1 on the netgear (or however you have it) just for kicks.

I've changed ports, but all the same.

Nothing wierd/unique going on.

What's QOS?

Phone is fine, working with a decent connection, i just tried lowering the quality to see if that helps, but it does not.
