There were many complaints of simultaneous ring not working properly a few weeks back. I understand
Vonage
fixed something for this. Those of you that previously reported problems with simring, is it working now?

SimulRing has been working for me for a while now.
With the exception of an odd problem tonight: I forward calls to my cell phone. The call came into my cell phone and home phone, the cell was closer so I tried answering on it. The cell phone would NOT let me answer the call! This could be a problem with my phone or provider, though...may be unrelated to
Vonage
, and this problem has never presented itself before.

Simulring is fixed.
The issue with calling your
Vonage
number FROM a number listed in Simulring is a
Vonage
issue but I don't know if they can fix it or not.
Here's what happens. Technically when you call Vonage.. they begin forwarding your call without answering it.. as a result the number (cell phone?) you are calling from is "busy".. for this reason you don't get call-waiting beep.. and the call goes right to voicemail.
If
Vonage
could answer the incoming call and play "ringing" then this issue would be fixed.
