I need a hand setting up my home telephone wiring for Vonage.
Here is what my box looks like

All I think that I have to do is undo the jack like in this image

Am I right or is there another step. Thanks for the input |

Yes, you understand the situation correctly. Unplugging that jack will disconnect your inside wiring from the phone company.
I am not sure with your type of box how you are going to keep it disconnected. The safest thing to do would be to remove the two pair of blue and white wires coming in on the right and splice the like colored ones together.
The put a note in the box warning against reconnecting the home wiring. |

As noted . Just unplug the rj45 with the white/ blue wires, and tag it! |
